C.V.Raman’s 125th birthday – Google Doodle
Today November 7th 2013, Sir CV Raman’s 125th birthday has been celebrated by a Google doodle. Dr. C.V. Raman was one of the greatest scientists of India, who was awarded the 1930 Nobel Prize in physics for his work on the scattering of light and for the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’, which is named after him.
